Founder Kathy Blair has over 20 years experience in small business administration with an emphasis on communications and marketing. This experience helps inform the websites she designs for her small-business and entrepreneur clients.
Beginning in the days of WordPerfect for DOS, Kathy began exploring how to create marketing materials, newsletters and brochures, often enrolling in classes as the technology changed and improved. In the early 2000’s she learned FrontPage, Microsoft’s attempt at web design software, and then Adobe Dreamweaver, with which she created websites for her first clients. With the advent of content management systems like WordPress, Kathy saw a way to offer clients a customized website that they can update themselves (something nearly impossible on a Dreamweaver site).
Fluent in HTML and CSS, she brings the ability to take a premium WordPress theme beyond its built-in customization capabilities to create something truly unique for each client.
Kathy graduated Summa Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a BA in Communications/Public Relations. She also holds a Professional Certificate in Marketing from UCSD Extension. Through the years she has continued to learn and improve her skills taking live and online courses to keep up with the latest best practices and technology.
